“What Choice Did I Have”: UP Man Records Video Confession After Killing Mother, Four Sisters, Makes Big Allegations

Arshad claims harassment by land mafia and fear of trafficking forced him to commit the horrific act in Lucknow hotel

January 1, 2025: In a deeply disturbing incident, 24-year-old Arshad allegedly killed his mother and four sisters in a hotel room in Lucknow. Following the horrific act, Arshad recorded a chilling video confession, explaining his motive and naming individuals he accused of harassment, land grabbing, and threats of trafficking his sisters.

Arshad confessed in the video that he choked his family members and slit their wrists. He also alleged that his father was complicit in the act. The crime took place at Hotel Sharanjit in Lucknow.

The Video Confession:

In the video, Arshad alleged that land mafia and neighbors in Budaun had taken over their home and planned to traffic his sisters. He named several individuals, including Ranu, Aftab, Aleem Khan, Salim, Arif, Ahmad, and Azhar, accusing them of being part of the conspiracy.

“We were forced out of our home, left to sleep on footpaths in the freezing cold. They spread lies about us, calling us Bangladeshis, and no one helped us,” Arshad said in the recording.

Arshad also mentioned the family’s intent to convert to another religion for peace, expressing frustration over the lack of intervention by authorities. He pleaded to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for justice.

The Arrest:

Police arrived at the scene promptly and arrested Arshad on the spot. Forensic teams have collected evidence, and an investigation is underway to verify his allegations and uncover the full circumstances behind the tragedy.

Official Statement:

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central Lucknow), Raveena Tyagi, confirmed the details, stating:
“The accused, Arshad, has been taken into custody. The crime scene has been thoroughly examined, and we are pursuing every angle of the investigation.”

A Cry for Justice:

In his video, Arshad requested that their land be turned into a temple and their belongings donated to an orphanage. He justified his actions, saying, “We have saved their honour. I had no choice.”

The gruesome case has sparked intense public debate about land disputes, mental health issues, and the systemic failures in addressing grievances of vulnerable families.

The investigation continues as authorities attempt to unravel the truth behind this horrifying tragedy.
