UP CM seeks investment, stronger economic ties
February 22, 2026: Yogi Adityanath has embarked on an official visit to Singapore and Japan to boost economic cooperation and attract foreign investment to Uttar Pradesh. The Chief Minister will be in Singapore on February 23 and 24, where he is scheduled to hold high-level meetings, participate in business roundtables, and interact with investors across key sectors.
Officials said discussions in Singapore will focus on infrastructure, urban development, technology, logistics and sustainable growth. The visit aims to expand partnerships and encourage global companies to explore emerging opportunities in India’s most populous state, highlighting policy reforms and ease-of-doing-business initiatives.
From February 25 to 26, Adityanath will continue his outreach in Japan, engaging with industry leaders, corporate executives and government representatives. The tour is being viewed as part of a broader strategy to position Uttar Pradesh as a global investment hub while deepening strategic economic ties with leading Asian economies.
