New Delhi [India]: The National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), an autonomous scientific society under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, hosted the NIELIT Job Fair 2023, titled “Yuva Rojgar Manch” – Sashakt Yuva, Sashakt Rashtra, in collaboration with the Directorate General of Employment (DGE), Ministry of Labour & Employment.
The event took place on the August 24-25, at the National Career Service Centre in Delhi.
Madan Mohan Tripathi, the Director General of NIELIT, inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp. In his inaugural address, he emphasized the importance of collaboration in achieving significant goals.
He highlighted that in today’s world, both employment and entrepreneurship are equally essential. Tripathi expressed NIELIT’s commitment to organizing more Job Fairs in Tier II and Tier III cities to ensure that opportunities reach every corner of the country.
The NIELIT Job Fair 2023, “Yuva Rojgar Manch,” reflects NIELIT’s dedication to the development of its students. Over the course of two days, 50 employers’ desks, including companies such as IBM India, Tech Mahindra, NIIT, My Money Mantra, Just Dial, Ebix Cash, Hindustan Wellness, Kudos Ayurveda, Investor Clinic, HDB Financial and Gi Group, conducted interviews for 793 candidates from various parts of the nation.
An informative session on “AI for Future Workforce” was also organized during the Job Fair, featuring experts from NIELIT and Intel.
This session provided candidates with a profound understanding of AI’s applications and its role in shaping the future workforce.
NIELIT is enhancing capacity building and fostering skill development in the Information, Electronics, and Communication Technology (IECT) field.
It has established itself as an institution across India with a network of over 47 Own/Extension Centres, numerous upcoming centres, and 8000+ training partners, ensuring a PAN INDIA presence.
NIELIT’s approach includes flagship programs such as the O, A, B, and C Level programs, degree programs, and NSQF-aligned long-term and short-term skilling courses in future emerging technologies.
These initiatives equip participants with the necessary competencies to excel in the rapidly evolving landscape of IECT.
