Anant Ambani Embarks on 140-km Spiritual Padayatra to Dwarka Ahead of 30th Birthday
Jamnagar (Gujarat), April 1: Choosing faith over fanfare, Anant Ambani, Director of Reliance Industries Limited, has undertaken a 140-km spiritual padayatra from Jamnagar to Dwarka, the holy city of Lord Krishna, as part of his 30th birthday celebrations.
Known for his deep devotion and spiritual outlook, Anant began the pilgrimage five days ago and is expected to reach Dwarkadhish Temple in the next 2–4 days. Walking 10–12 kilometers each night under Z+ security and police protection, he is honoring a personal vow to offer prayers at the temple on his birthday, April 10.
Speaking to reporters mid-journey, Anant said, “The padayatra is from our home in Jamnagar to Dwarka. I always remember Lord Dwarkadhish before starting any work, and everything goes smoothly. I urge the youth to have faith in Lord Krishna—He removes every obstacle when you walk with devotion.”
Anant’s journey began from Moti Khavdi, Jamnagar, and has resonated deeply with his admirers, highlighting his humility and spiritual priorities despite being part of one of India’s most influential business families.
Beyond spirituality, Anant is also a champion of wildlife conservation. His ambitious initiative, Vantara, focuses on rescue, rehabilitation, and care for animals, especially elephants. Under Vantara, the Radhe Krishna Temple Elephant Welfare Trust (RKTEWT) has earned national acclaim.
On February 27, Vantara was honored with the ‘Prani Mitra’ National Award—India’s highest recognition for animal welfare—in the Corporate Category. The award acknowledges RKTEWT’s tireless work in rescuing, treating, and providing lifelong care to elephants in need.
Anant Ambani’s journey—both literal and symbolic—blends devotion, compassion, and responsibility, offering an inspiring example of how tradition, service, and sustainability can walk hand in hand.
