Arab Health 2025 Kicks Off in Dubai, Celebrating 50 Years of Healthcare Innovation

Landmark healthcare event showcases cutting-edge advancements, global collaboration, and sustainability initiatives

Dubai [UAE], January 28: Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, inaugurated the 50th edition of the Arab Health Exhibition and Congress at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) on Sunday. The event, the largest of its kind in the Middle East, is being held from January 27 to 30 under the theme “Where the World of Healthcare Meets.”

Celebrating Five Decades of Innovation

The milestone edition features over 3,800 exhibitors and expects to attract more than 60,000 visitors. Since its inception in 1975 with just 40 exhibitors, Arab Health has evolved into a globally recognized platform showcasing advancements in healthcare technology, services, and solutions.

Sheikh Ahmed lauded the event’s growth and its role in fostering regional and international collaboration.
“Arab Health embodies Dubai’s vision of creating innovative and comprehensive health systems through global partnerships and transformative solutions,” he said.

Key Highlights of Arab Health 2025

Inaugural Ceremonies and Global Participation

  • The opening ceremony was attended by prominent dignitaries, including UAE Minister of Health Abdulrahman bin Mohamed Al Owais and health ministers from Arab nations like Egypt, Qatar, and Bahrain.
  • Notable features include the Healthcare ESG Forum, focusing on sustainability and climate change-related health challenges.

Cutting-Edge Technology and Conferences

  • The 25th Total Radiology Conference explored advancements in imaging, with a keynote by Harvard’s Giles W. L. Boland.
  • The 8th Emergency Medicine Conference highlighted leadership and resuscitation techniques, while the 24th General Surgery Conference focused on laser technology and bariatric innovations.
  • The 9th Public Health Conference addressed global public health directions under the theme, “Enabling Communities and Elevating Wellbeing.”

Special Experiences and Networking Opportunities

  • The Lakers and UCLA Health Experience featured NBA legends Robert Horry and Michael Cooper, along with insights from UCLA Health’s sports medicine team.
  • The Arab Health Village returned with an expanded networking space and diverse food options.
