January 13, 2025: Los Angeles, California: The California wildfires continue to wreak havoc across Los Angeles County, claiming 24 lives and destroying over 12,000 structures. Officials are battling six simultaneous blazes as strong dry winds fan the infernos, leaving thousands homeless. Mandatory evacuation orders remain in place for over 150,000 residents, with shelters offering refuge to more than 700 people.

Amidst the devastation, Beyoncé has stepped forward, donating $2.5 million through her BeyGOOD foundation to the newly established LA Fire Relief Fund. The fund aims to support families in the Altadena and Pasadena areas, providing immediate relief to those affected by the disaster.
