Champions Trophy 2025: India To Face Pakistan on February 23 as ICC Announces Full Schedule

The much-awaited ICC Champions Trophy 2025 fixtures have finally been announced, ending months of speculation. The eight-team tournament will be played across Pakistan and Dubai, with matches scheduled from February 19 to March 9, 2025. This marks a historic edition of the Champions Trophy, as it is set to be held in Pakistan for the first time in nearly 30 years, with Dubai also playing a key role as one of the tournament venues.

Dates: February 19 to March 9, 2025

Venues: Pakistan (Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi) and Dubai.

Total Matches: 15 matches, including 12 group-stage games, 2 semi-finals, and 1 final.

Format: The tournament will feature two groups of four teams each, with the top two from each group advancing to the semi-finals.

Reserve Days: Both semi-finals and the final will have reserve days in case of rain delays.

  • February 25: Australia vs South Africa – Rawalpindi, Pakistan
  • February 26: Afghanistan vs England – Lahore, Pakistan
  • February 27: Pakistan vs Bangladesh – Rawalpindi, Pakistan
  • February 28: Afghanistan vs Australia – Lahore, Pakistan
  • March 1: South Africa vs England – Karachi, Pakistan
  • March 2: New Zealand vs India – Dubai
  • March 4: Semi-final 1 – Dubai
  • March 5: Semi-final 2 – Lahore, Pakistan
  • March 9: Final – Lahore (unless India qualifies, in which case the final will be moved to Dubai)
  • March 10: Reserve Day
  • February 23, 2025: Pakistan vs India in Dubai – This will be one of the biggest matches of the tournament, given the intense rivalry between the two nations. The game is expected to attract a massive global audience.
  • February 22, 2025: Australia vs England in Lahore – Another high-profile clash, featuring two of the most competitive teams in world cricket.
