Delhi Riots Case: Umar Khalid Granted Interim Bail for Sister’s Wedding

A Delhi court on Thursday granted interim bail to former JNU student leader Umar Khalid, who is an accused in the larger conspiracy case related to the 2020 Delhi riots, so he can attend his sister’s wedding.

Bail Details

  • Duration: Khalid has been granted interim bail from December 16 to December 29.
  • Conditions: The court ordered him to furnish a personal bond of ₹20,000 along with two sureties.
  • Restrictions: Khalid is prohibited from using social media and is only permitted to meet his family members, relatives, and friends during the bail period.
