Disney’s $15 Million Pledge

The Walt Disney Company has committed $15 million to aid organizations providing on-ground support. The funds will be directed toward groups such as the American Red Cross, Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, and the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank to bolster immediate response and rebuilding initiatives.

“As this tragedy continues to unfold, The Walt Disney Company is committed to supporting our community and our employees as we all work together to recover and rebuild from this unbelievable devastation,” said Disney CEO Bob Iger in a statement.

Iger emphasized Disney’s deep-rooted connection to Los Angeles, noting that it was where Walt Disney began pursuing his dreams, creating stories that resonate globally. “We are proud to provide assistance to this resilient and vibrant community in this moment of need,” Iger added.
