Video released by Indian Army shows destruction of a Pakistani military post along the LoC following multiple ceasefire violations and drone attacks.
New Delhi | May 9, 2025 –
In a powerful message of deterrence and retaliation, the Indian Army has released the first visual of a Pakistani military post being destroyed in response to a series of cross-border attacks and ceasefire violations.
Though the exact sector along the Line of Control (LoC) where the strike took place has not been disclosed, sources confirm that several Pakistani posts have been neutralised in response to sustained provocations from across the border.
“Pakistan Armed Forces launched multiple attacks using drones and other munitions along the entire Western Border on the intervening night of May 8 and 9,” said an Army statement, confirming numerous ceasefire violations across LoC sectors in Jammu and Kashmir.
The visuals show a direct hit on a Pakistani forward post, highlighting India’s ability and willingness to respond with precision and force to military threats.

The Indian Army stated that all drone incursions were repulsed effectively, and a “befitting reply” was delivered to provocations along the LoC.
“The Indian Army remains committed to safeguarding the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the nation. All nefarious designs will be responded to with force,” the Army’s statement added.
Meanwhile, the Border Security Force (BSF) foiled a major infiltration attempt in the Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir last night, amid a broader blackout imposed in border areas due to heightened security risks.
Cities including Srinagar, Jammu, Amritsar, and parts of Rajasthan remained under blackout conditions throughout the night as air defence measures stayed on high alert.
