Florida Pizza Delivery Worker Stabs Pregnant Woman 14 Times Over $2 Tip

The attacker, armed with a knife and accompanied by an armed accomplice, stormed into the victim’s motel room following a dispute over a minimal tip.

December 27, 2024: In a horrifying incident in Florida, a pizza delivery worker allegedly stabbed a pregnant woman 14 times after becoming dissatisfied with a $2 tip. The attack took place at a motel in Osceola County, where the victim was staying with her family.

The Incident:

The accused, 22-year-old Brianna Alvelo, delivered a pizza order totaling $33 to a motel room. When the customer could not provide exact change for a $50 bill, Alvelo received a $2 tip instead.

Alvelo allegedly returned 90 minutes later with an accomplice, who was armed with a gun. They forced their way into the victim’s room, where the woman was staying with her boyfriend and 5-year-old daughter.

During the assault:

  • The victim was stabbed 14 times by Alvelo.
  • The accomplice, wearing a mask, yelled for them to escape after the attack.
  • The woman shielded her daughter and had her phone smashed while attempting to call for help.

Victim’s Condition:

The victim was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where she was listed in stable condition. During medical treatment, she was informed that she was pregnant.

Police Investigation and Arrest:

  • The incident was captured on security footage showing Alvelo’s red Toyota at the scene.
  • Alvelo was arrested the next day, while her accomplice remains at large.
  • Alvelo is facing multiple charges, including:
    • Attempted Murder
    • Home Invasion with a Firearm
    • Assault
    • Kidnapping

She is currently held without bond at the Osceola County Jail.

Marco’s Pizza Responds:

In response to the incident, Marco’s Pizza, where Alvelo was employed, issued a statement:
“We are deeply saddened by this tragic event. The safety and well-being of our customers and team members are our top priorities. We are fully cooperating with authorities in their investigation.”

Ongoing Investigation:

The police are continuing their search for the armed accomplice, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.

This tragic event has shocked the community and raised concerns about employee behaviour and background checks in customer-facing roles.
