Footage shows Hezbollah terrorists moments before killed in airstrike
Tel Aviv [Israel], October 23, 2024: Two Hezbollah militants, members of the elite Radwan Forces, were killed by an Israeli drone strike during a military operation in southern Lebanon. The terrorists, armed with an RPG missile and a rifle, had fired at Israeli troops from a building.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) released footage showing the precise elimination of the targets. Additionally, the troops discovered and destroyed a weapons storage facility, unearthing an underground tunnel shaft, dozens of RPGs, mortar shells, and combat gear. In another raid, they neutralized a launcher prepared with four missiles aimed at northern Israel.
On Monday night, Israel struck Hezbollah’s main naval base in Beirut. Following the attacks, Hezbollah responded with a barrage of 20 missiles fired towards northern and central Israel on Tuesday morning. Fortunately, all were intercepted or fell in open areas, though shrapnel caused minor damage in B’nei Brak and Kibbutz Ma’agen Michael.
The escalation follows the aftermath of the October 7, 2023, Hamas attacks, after which Hezbollah, backed by Iran, has been persistently launching rockets and drones at Israeli northern communities. According to government data, over 68,000 residents in the region have been displaced due to these ongoing hostilities. Hezbollah’s barrage has claimed 59 lives so far.
Despite United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701, which forbids Hezbollah’s operations in southern Lebanon, the group continues to violate the mandate.
