The NTA has released the session 2nd schedule for JEE Main 2025

March 11, 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the schedule for JEE Main 2025 Session 2, set to take place in April 2025. Here’s everything you need to know about the exam dates, pattern, marking scheme, and more.

📅 JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Exam Dates

📌 Paper 1 (BE/BTech):
🗓 April 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8
🕘 Shift 1: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
🕒 Shift 2: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

📌 Paper 2A (BArch) & Paper 2B (B Planning):
🗓 April 9, 2025
🕘 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM

📌 Paper 1 (BE/BTech) Additional Shift:
🗓 April 8, 2025
🕒 Shift 2: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

🔹 Paper 1: BE/BTech
📌 Subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
📌 Question Type: MCQs (Section A) & Numerical Value-based (Section B)
📌 Negative Marking: Applicable to both sections

🔹 Paper 2A: B.Arch
📌 Subjects: Mathematics, Aptitude Test, Drawing Test
📌 Mode: CBT (except Drawing Test – offline on A4 sheets)

🔹 Paper 2B: B.Planning
📌 Subjects: Mathematics, Aptitude Test, Planning-Based Questions
📌 Mode: CBT

📌 Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT) for all papers (except Drawing Test)
📌 Languages Available:
🗣 13 Languages, including English, Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, Urdu, and others under NEP policy.


⏳ Duration of JEE Main 2025

📌 Paper 1 (BE/BTech) & Individual Paper 2A/2B: 3 hours (4 hours for PwD candidates)
📌 Combined Paper 2A & 2B: 3 hours 30 minutes (4 hours 10 minutes for PwD candidates)
