Grand Prelude to Maha Kumbh 2025 as Kumar Vishwas and Cultural Luminaries Inspire Faith and Participation

Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh), January 10: Poet and cultural icon Kumar Vishwas concluded his three-day event ‘Apne Apne Ram’ on Thursday, ahead of the Maha Kumbh 2025, urging the youth to embrace the spiritual and historical significance of the grand event.

“Mahakumbh is not just a religious festival; it is historic and prosperous. I urge the youth to participate in large numbers,” Vishwas told the media, underscoring the importance of connecting with Lord Ram’s legacy.

A Spiritual and Cultural Celebration

The program, held in Prayagraj, saw enthusiastic participation and was graced by dignitaries such as UP Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak, Prasar Bharati Board Chairman Navneet Sehgal, and former Prayagraj Mayor Abhilasha Gupta.

Abhilasha Gupta highlighted the event’s impact on the audience:
“On the first day, people were hesitant, but Kumar Vishwas’ storytelling about Ram captivated everyone. The crowd’s energy was so overwhelming that we had to close the gates. His narration is truly heart-touching.”

Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak praised Vishwas for reconnecting people with Sanatan Dharma:
“It was amazing. Kumar Vishwas reminded us of the essence of Ram and Krishna, along with the timeless values of Sanatan Dharma.”

Navneet Sehgal called the program an auspicious start to the Maha Kumbh 2025:
“The Kumbh is a grand celebration of Sanatan Dharma, and beginning it with the name of Lord Ram is deeply symbolic and inspiring.”

Maha Kumbh 2025: A Star-Studded Event

The Uttar Pradesh government has planned an impressive cultural lineup for the Maha Kumbh 2025, which will run from January 16 to February 24 in Prayagraj. Artists like Shankar Mahadevan, Mohit Chauhan, Kailash Kher, and Shaan will perform, creating a mesmerizing atmosphere for devotees.

  • Shankar Mahadevan opening the festival.
  • Mohit Chauhan closing the event.
  • Renowned artists like Hariharan, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Shovana Narayan, and Malini Awasthi performing throughout.
