Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has been handed a six-month driving ban for speeding in his Rolls-Royce, according to Sky Sports. The 26-year-old England attacker was caught driving at 104 mph on the M60 in Manchester last December.

As reported by Sky Sports, a court official confirmed Rashford's ban, along with a fine of £1,666, plus £120 in court costs and a £66 surcharge. Rashford admitted the offence under the Single Justice Procedure.

This incident occurred less than three months after Rashford crashed another Rolls-Royce after leaving the Carrington training ground. No ambulance was required, despite the involvement of another vehicle.

Rashford recently missed out on a spot in England's Euro 2024 squad, despite being a key player under former head coach Gareth Southgate. He was part of England's squads for the 2018 and 2022 World Cups and the Euro 2021 squad, which reached the final. However, Rashford's form has declined in the recent Premier League season, scoring just eight goals and providing five assists in 42 appearances, his lowest output since the 2016/17 campaign.

In 2023, Rashford scored 30 goals across all competitions and was named Manchester United's Player of the Year. He participated in United's first pre-season game against Rosenborg, playing the first half alongside Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Jonny Evans, Mason Mount, and captain Casemiro. Despite their efforts, United lost the game 1-0.
