
Myanmar Quake Horror: Survivors Share What It's Like Trapped Under Rubble-Watch Video
April 1, 2025: A 7.7 magnitude earthquake has claimed over 2,000 lives in Myanmar, devastating cities like Mandalay and remote villages. Survivors’ stories have surfaced on social media, including a viral video of an elderly woman and her granddaughters trapped for 15 hours in a tiny air pocket beneath their collapsed home. Using a butter knife, they banged on concrete to signal rescuers.

In Mandalay, two women trapped in a hotel for 5 hours used a phone light to survive in pitch darkness. Their message: “Live happily, do good, because karma is real.”
