Mystery in Mongolia: Hundreds of Sheep Seen Walking in Circles for 12 Days

A mysterious and unusual phenomenon recently unfolded in Mongolia, where hundreds of sheep were seen walking in circles for 12 consecutive days. The strange behavior, captured on video, has left both locals and experts puzzled, as the sheep continuously moved in a near-perfect circle without breaking formation.

The footage shows the large flock moving in a clockwise direction, with some sheep occasionally joining or leaving the circle, but most maintaining the continuous loop. The incident, which took place on a farm in northern Mongolia, has sparked curiosity and speculation across social media platforms, with many questioning the possible reasons behind this peculiar behavior.

Some experts have suggested that the phenomenon could be linked to a condition known as “circling disease,” caused by the bacterial infection Listeriosis. This disease can affect the brain, leading to disorientation and abnormal behavior in animals. However, the scale and duration of the circling observed in Mongolia are highly unusual, leading others to propose alternative explanations, including environmental factors or stress-induced behavior.

As investigations continue, the incident has garnered significant attention worldwide, adding to the ongoing fascination with unexplained animal behaviors.
