Stand-up comic Nate Jackson brings high-energy laughs in Super Funny, debuting July 8 on Netflix; also announces North American Big Dog Tour starting September 18.

Netflix has officially announced that Super Funny, the debut comedy special from Nate Jackson, will begin streaming globally on July 8. The stand-up hour, packed with high-energy crowd work and outrageous observational humor, was filmed at the Neptune Theatre in Seattle and marks a major milestone in Jackson’s comedic career.

Super Funny, the much-anticipated first Netflix special from rising comedy star Nate Jackson, is set to premiere on the platform worldwide on July 8. Known for his infectious charisma and rapid-fire delivery, Jackson’s hour-long set blends punchy material with spontaneous crowd interactions, covering everything from racially questionable cookies to the absurdities of everyday life.

The special was directed by Marcus Russell Price, and Jackson served as executive producer alongside Zack Waxenberg and Larry Meyer. Shot live at the historic Neptune Theatre in Seattle, Super Funny offers a vibrant showcase of Jackson’s unique stage presence and comedic timing.

Alongside the Netflix announcement, Nate Jackson also revealed his new stand-up venture — the Big Dog Tour, set to launch on September 18 at the Byham Theater in Pittsburgh. Produced by Live Nation, the tour will span more than 20 cities across North America, with additional dates expected to be revealed soon. Tickets go on pre-sale starting Wednesday, June 18 at 10 a.m. local time, with general sales opening Friday, June 20 at the same hour.

Jackson has already made significant waves in the comedy world, boasting over 4 million TikTok followers and amassing more than 600 million views globally. He is one of the few stand-up comedians who owns his own venue — the Super Funny Comedy Club in Tacoma, Washington, which has become a cornerstone for emerging and established talent alike.

Beyond stand-up, Jackson has appeared in numerous high-profile television shows, including NBC’s Young Rock, Apple TV+’s Spirited, HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm, MTV’s Wild ‘n Out, HBO’s All Def Comedy, Comedy Central’s Hart of the City, and BET’s Comic View.

His rising momentum continues with several major upcoming projects. Jackson is set to star in Peacock’s reboot of The Office, titled The Paper, premiering this September. He will also appear alongside Keanu Reeves, Seth Rogen, and Keke Palmer in Aziz Ansari’s Lionsgate comedy Good Fortune, hitting theaters on October 17.

Jackson is represented by CAA and 3 Arts Entertainment.
