Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Adampur Air Force Station delivers a visual rebuttal to Pakistan’s false narrative of having destroyed India’s S-400 system during post-Operation Sindoor hostilities.

May 13, 2025: In a powerful and symbolic gesture, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Adampur Air Force Station in Punjab on Tuesday—days after Pakistan claimed it had destroyed India’s S-400 air defence system stationed there. The Prime Minister met and interacted with “brave air warriors and soldiers,” sending a clear message of resolve and strength.

Among the shared images that went viral was PM Modi saluting in front of the very S-400 system Pakistan claimed to have destroyed, debunking Islamabad’s claims as baseless propaganda. The Indian armed forces had already dismissed those assertions, calling them outright falsehoods meant to mislead the public.

“India is eternally grateful to our armed forces for everything they do for our nation,” the PM said on X.

The atmosphere at the Adampur base was electric with patriotic slogans like “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram” as Modi spoke to soldiers just days after India’s Operation Sindoor dismantled terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and PoK.

On May 10, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh firmly dismissed Pakistan’s claims of damaging the S-400 or a BrahMos facility, labelling them “completely false.” These claims were circulated by Pakistan’s state TV and amplified by Chinese media, including Global Times and Xinhua.

The Indian response, under Operation Sindoor, came after the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22 that left 26 people dead. India neutralised over 100 terrorists across targeted strikes in Pakistan and PoK.

Despite a ceasefire being declared on May 10, India has made it clear that the operation is only “paused,” and that any future terror act will be treated as an act of war.

In his Monday address, PM Modi reiterated that India will not distinguish between the perpetrators of terror and those sheltering them, stating:

“We will strike wherever terror is bred, including those who sponsor and shelter it.”

The Adampur visit, underscored by the undamaged presence of the S-400, has now become a potent visual refutation of Pakistan’s narrative—and a reaffirmation of India’s military preparedness.
