Actor Saif Ali Khan, 54, was discharged from Lilavati Hospital this afternoon, six days after being brutally stabbed during a burglary attempt at his Bandra home. The actor’s mother, veteran actor Sharmila Tagore, is assisting with discharge formalities, while his wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan, was present earlier but left the hospital shortly before the formalities were completed.

Saif was rushed to the hospital in an auto-rickshaw by his staff, bleeding heavily from the injuries.
