Shilpa Shetty Breaks Down as She Visits Baba Siddique’s Family After His Tragic Shooting

October 13, 2024: Bollywood stars, including Salman Khan and Shilpa Shetty, made their way to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on Saturday night to offer support and condolences to the grieving family of former state minister and NCP leader Baba Siddique, who tragically succumbed to bullet injuries after being shot by unidentified assailants.

In a heartfelt moment captured by paparazzi, Shilpa Shetty is seen overcome with emotion as she arrives at the hospital. Visibly distraught, Shilpa breaks down in her car before stepping out with her husband, Raj Kundra. She struggles to hold back tears, displaying the deep impact Siddique’s death has had on those close to him.

Actor Zaheer Iqbal was also spotted at the hospital, joining the Bollywood fraternity in mourning the loss of Baba Siddique. The actors, all of whom had close relationships with the late politician, expressed their condolences and solidarity with the Siddique family during this tragic time. Baba Siddique was well-known in Bollywood circles, especially for his iconic iftar parties, which were attended by numerous celebrities over the years.

Baba Siddique’s Death: Baba Siddique was shot on Saturday evening at his son Zeeshan’s office in Bandra. Despite being rushed to Lilavati Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries. The 66-year-old politician, who had served three terms as MLA from Bandra West, had recently joined Ajit Pawar’s Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) after his long tenure with the Congress.

Following the tragic incident, Mumbai Additional CP Paramjit Singh Dahiya confirmed the arrest of two suspects involved in the shooting. The Mumbai Crime Branch is currently investigating the case. Officials revealed that the weapon used in the crime was a 9.9mm pistol, which has been recovered by the police.

Actor Riteish Deshmukh expressed his grief on social media, tweeting, “The perpetrators of this horrific crime must be brought to justice.” His sentiments echoed the widespread shock and sorrow felt across Bollywood and beyond.
