BJP leader Tejasvi Surya on Thursday criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), highlighting the treatment of Swati Maliwal and urging voters to remove the AAP government for a safer environment for women.

Speaking to reporters in Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya, Surya said, "Kejriwal's character and the political culture of the Aam Admi Party (AAP) came out after this incident. I also want to tell the people of Delhi that if women want to get a safe and secure environment then they should remove the AAP government as soon as possible."

Surya continued, "Arvind Kejriwal and AAP are a part of the urban naxal gang. Women in his party are not safe. The way efforts are being made to silence Swati Maliwal, remove evidence, and the atrocities committed on an MP demonstrates the culture of AAP... Arvind Kejriwal's character, political culture, and AAP's DNA have been exposed."

Urging for support, he added, "People must give over 400 seats to the BJP if they want the women and country to be saved."
