The situation intensified further on Sunday as U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed American involvement, announcing that B-2 Spirit bombers had successfully hit three key Iranian nuclear facilities: Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan.
The bombers, flying non-stop from Missouri, executed the mission using six bunker-buster bombs on Fordow and approximately 30 Tomahawk missiles on the other targets. Trump hailed the operation as a “very successful attack” and issued a stern warning to Iran of “far greater” retaliation if the conflict continues.
🔥 Geopolitical Fallout & Escalation Risks
These strikes mark one of the most direct and aggressive U.S. military actions against Iran in recent years and have drawn mixed global reactions. Israel lauded Trump’s decision, while the United Nations and several world leaders have urged restraint amid fears of a broader regional war.
With Israel focusing on military infrastructure and the U.S. targeting Iran’s nuclear capabilities, the confrontation has reached unprecedented heights, and the potential for full-scale conflict looms large.
