Nikhat Zareen and Nitu win gold medals at the Strandja Boxing Tournament, giving India a total of three medals.

Nikhat won her second gold medal at Europe’s oldest international boxing championship, the women’s 52kg final, by a score of 4-1. In 2019, she was the winner of the Strandja Memorial.

At the 73rd Strandja Memorial Boxing in Sofia, Bulgaria on Sunday, Indian boxers Nikhat Zareen (52 kg) and Neetu (Nitu, 48 kg) won gold medals in their respective final battles.
In the final, Neetu comfortably defeated Erica Priciandaro of Italy to win the gold medal.
They defeated the former bronze medalist from the Youth World Championships 5–0.

He unleashed superb counter-attacks, taking full advantage of his long reach.
Tetyana Kob of Ukraine, a three-time European Championship medalist, was defeated 4-1 by Nikhat.
Despite the fact that Zareen was up against a formidable opponent, she did not allow her foe to dominate.
“Both demonstrated completely different techniques, but both performed well,” said Bhaskar Bhatt, coach of the national women’s team.
