Nita Ambani Prays at Golden Temple

Nita Ambani, Founder and Chairperson of Reliance Foundation, sought solace in prayer at the serene Golden Temple in Amritsar. Draped in a pink dupatta, she was captured offering her prayers in a video that quickly circulated online. While she immersed herself in spiritual reflection, her cricket team, the Mumbai Indians, were battling it out against the Punjab Kings in Mohali, Punjab.

In recent discussions, Ambani highlighted the significance of the ESA (Education and Sports for All) initiative, particularly within the Mumbai Indians’ community. During a match, she engaged with children from various NGOs, fostering positivity and joy within the stadium.

Her dedication to providing equal opportunities in sports resonated deeply as she shared, “Sport does not discriminate; talent can emerge from any corner. Perhaps one of these children will rise to the pinnacle of sports, carrying cherished memories and the belief to pursue their dreams.”

Beyond her sporting endeavors, Ambani received accolades for her humanitarian efforts, notably being honored with the ‘Humanitarian Award’ at the 71st Miss World finale held in March. In her acceptance speech, she celebrated the strength of women, emphasizing their pivotal role in shaping a better future. With a humble demeanor, she acknowledged, “This award symbolizes the compassionate spirit that unites us all.

At Reliance Foundation, we empower every Indian, especially women and young girls, through education, healthcare, sports, livelihood, and the promotion of arts and culture.” Ambani’s words resonated with hope, inspiring a generation of young women to pursue their aspirations, for as she passionately declared, “This century belongs to women.”
