While working on the set of ‘War 2’ in Mumbai with Hrithik Roshan, actor NTR Jr has been actively engaging with Bollywood’s film community. This Sunday, he and his wife, Lakshmi Pranathi, joined a dinner with notable personalities including Ranbir Kapoor and his wife Alia Bhatt, as well as filmmakers Karan Johar and Ayan Mukerji. Hrithik Roshan and his girlfriend Saba Azad also attended the gathering.
The group enjoyed a relaxed dinner in an intimate setting, allowing them to bond over their mutual interests in film and entertainment. Photographs from the evening show NTR Jr and Ranbir Kapoor arriving together in a black SUV, pausing to wait for Alia before entering the restaurant. Karan Johar and Ayan Mukerji followed shortly in another vehicle, with Hrithik and Saba making their entrance together, hand in hand.
For the casual dinner, the stars opted for relaxed attire; Ranbir and NTR Jr were both dressed in black, while Karan Johar matched the theme. Alia Bhatt brightened the evening with a summer-ready off-shoulder yellow dress.
The dinner marks a notable public appearance since Karan Johar announced his acquisition of the North India theatrical distribution rights for NTR Jr’s upcoming film ‘Devara.’ Earlier in the month, Johar expressed his excitement about the project on Instagram: “A mass hurricane of grandeur entertainment is closer than ever before. Honoured and extremely grateful to be a part of – Man of Masses Jr NTR’s Devara. We are extremely thrilled and proud to announce our partnership for the north theatrical distribution rights for the next big cinematic experience in Indian cinema,” he shared, along with a picture from his meeting with NTR Jr.
The ‘Devara’ team reciprocated the sentiment on their social media, stating, “Happy to join forces with the dynamic distributors of our country, Karan Johar and AA Films for the North India theatrical distribution of #Devara! Looking forward to a thunderous release on 10th October 2024!”
While ‘Devara’ is set for an October release, the premiere date for ‘War 2’, directed by Ayan Mukerji, remains undisclosed.
