Actors Paresh Rawal, Amit Sial, and Sonali Kulkarni are set to star in the upcoming film ‘Jo Tera Hain Woh Mera Hain’, a slice-of-life comedy-drama directed by Raj Trivedi.
The film’s trailer, released recently, offers a glimpse into the misadventures of Mitesh Meghani (played by Amit Sial), a tea seller turned hustler who schemes to win his family’s love by conning an elderly man, played by Paresh Rawal. Mitesh’s plan involves a reverse mortgage, which unravels when the old man refuses to die, leading to hilarious consequences as Mitesh’s hustling ways catch up with him.
Paresh Rawal, excited about the project, shared in a press note, ‘Jo Tera Hai Woh Mera Hai’ is a slice-of-life comedy-drama that beautifully blends humor with relatability. The script was hilarious, and bringing this story to life has been incredibly rewarding. Comedy, though often seen as light-hearted, requires great skill and dedication, and working on this film has been a true testament to that.”
Amit Sial, reflecting on working with Rawal, said, “Working with Paresh Rawal sir, who is nothing short of a masterclass, was an incredible learning experience. The challenge of balancing sharp humor with clever insight made this role so exciting.”
Produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Ajay Rai, and presented by Jio Studios, ‘Jo Tera Hai Woh Mera Hai’ is set for release on September 20 and will be available to stream on JioCinema. The film promises to be a family entertainer filled with humor, wit, and heartwarming moments.
