Polling begins in UP, Goa and Uttarakhand

Voting began in Goa and the 55 seats of Uttar Pradesh at 7 am on Monday, while polling in Uttarakhand started at 8 am.

More than 60% voter turnout was recorded in phase one.

The Governor of Goa of confident of a high voter turnout.

Current CM of Goa Pramod Sawant was confident of BJP win in 22 seats.

Former Goa CM Late Sh. Manohar Parrikar’s son Utpal Parrikar was seen visiting poll booths. He is fighting as an independent.

Earlier, Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi was sen standing in line to vote in a polling booth in Rampur constituency.

In an interview to ANI, CM Yogi said that BJP will secure 300 seats in UP.

Polling in Uttarakhand started at 8AM today.
