The Kering Foundation’s Caring for Women dinner made its return during New York Fashion Week, marking its third consecutive year.
The event, aimed at supporting organizations that combat gender-based violence, saw a remarkable gathering of celebrities. Among them was Bollywood superstar Priyanka Chopra, who made a stunning appearance in a sophisticated black gown adorned with lace details.
Priyanka took to Instagram to share a series of photos from the event, where she posed with high-profile guests including Salma Hayek Pinault, Kerry Washington, Kim Kardashian, Naomi Watts, and Julianne Moore. In her caption, she expressed gratitude to Salma Hayek Pinault and François-Henri Pinault, writing, “A whirlwind trip to spend a very meaningful evening with old friends and new… Thank you to the most wonderful human, Salma Hayek Pinault, and the very charismatic François-Henri Pinault for including me.“
Priyanka also emphasized the event’s deeper purpose, stating that it was about more than raising awareness—it was about taking decisive action to end violence against women. She praised the work of the organizations supported by the event, highlighting how essential it is to ensure a world where women can live without fear. Additionally, she gave shout-outs to Gayle King and Viola Davis for their powerful contributions during the evening.
The event, co-hosted by notable figures such as Salma Hayek, Camila Alves McConaughey, Matthew McConaughey, Kim Kardashian, Naomi Watts, and others, was a major success, as reported by People magazine. Priyanka’s elegant look featured voluminous waves in her hair, dramatic makeup with glossy coral lips, and accessories including a chunky bracelet and chandelier earrings.
The Caring for Women dinner served as a powerful reminder of the collective efforts needed to address gender-based violence, with proceeds directed toward deserving organizations.
Recently, Priyanka returned to Los Angeles after attending her brother’s wedding in India. Professionally, she wrapped filming for her upcoming project, “The Bluff”, a 19th-century Caribbean film directed by Frank E. Flowers, where she plays a former female pirate. In addition to “The Bluff,” she is set to appear in “Heads of State” alongside John Cena and Idris Elba.
