Priyanka Chopra Jonas’s much-anticipated documentary ‘Women of My Billion’ (WOMB) has finally secured a release date. The streaming platform, Prime Video, unveiled the inspiring trailer on Thursday, teasing viewers with a journey that traverses the length and breadth of India to champion women’s safety and empowerment.
Directed by Ajitesh Sharma and produced by Apoorva Bakshi and Monisha Thyagarajan’s Awedacious Originals in collaboration with Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ Purple Pebble Pictures, ‘Women of My Billion’ chronicles the remarkable odyssey of Srishti Bakshi. Srishti embarked on a monumental walking pilgrimage from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, covering 3,800 kilometers over 240 days, with a mission to unearth and share the untold stories of women across India—stories of struggle, resilience, dreams, and victories against all odds.
