Bollywood icon Vinod Khanna not only captivated audiences with his heroic on-screen persona but also with his impeccable style both on and off-screen. His son, Rahul Khanna, has inherited this distinctive fashion sense and continues to carry his father’s legacy, captivating fans with his own presence and style.
In a conversation with ANI, Rahul shared how his late father’s unique stylistic perspective has inspired him. “Even just looking back at his films, he had a very strong stylistic point of view. And I remember when he used to dress when we were kids. He was always very into clothes and accessories and styles. I think that sort of maybe filtered down to me,” Rahul reflected.
The Bollywood industry suffered a great loss when Vinod Khanna passed away on April 27, 2017. Known for delivering some of the most iconic performances, Vinod Khanna was celebrated as one of the finest actors in Indian cinema. From playing a dacoit to a policeman, and from a lover to an angry father, Vinod Khanna’s acting range was as impressive as his stylish appearances.
Vinod Khanna began his acting career in 1968 with Sunil Dutt’s film “Mann Ka Meet.” Initially cast as a villain, his pure eyes and dapper looks quickly convinced audiences that he was destined for heroic roles. His brilliant performances as a lead actor earned him a massive fan following, and whether playing the protagonist or not, he always left a lasting impression on his audience.
Meanwhile, Rahul Khanna recently turned heads as a showstopper for designer Siddartha Tytler on Day 3 of India Couture Week 2024, alongside Malaika Arora. Rahul stunned the audience in a black bandhgala sherwani adorned with golden floral motifs at the bottom, complemented by a neat hairdo and clean-shaven look. His appearance was a testament to the stylish legacy he carries from his father.
Rahul’s sartorial elegance and fashion-forward choices continue to honor his late father’s memory, proving that style and charisma truly run in the Khanna family.
