October 14, 2024: Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has once again embraced the role of a groom, this time in a fashion event that has fans buzzing. After his intimate wedding with Alia Bhatt in 2022, which left many of his fans wanting more of the grand spectacle they had hoped for, Ranbir has fulfilled their wishes with a new viral baraat video.

Ranbir recently served as the showstopper for ace designer Tarun Tahiliani during a fashion show for his wedding wear brand, Tasva. Dressed in an elegant sherwani, Ranbir arrived in a vintage car and danced to the lively beats of a dhol, recreating a grand baraat experience. Fans of the actor, who missed out on seeing him in full groom attire during his wedding, were delighted by the performance, and the video of the event quickly went viral.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt tied the knot on April 14, 2022, in a private ceremony, and the couple welcomed their daughter, Raha, in November the same year. Ranbir’s latest appearance for Tasva gave fans a glimpse of him as the dashing ‘dulha’ they had wished to see.
Tasva is a wedding and occasion wear brand launched by ABFRL in collaboration with Tarun Tahiliani. The brand focuses on offering modern Indian men elegant and comfortable traditional wear, blending craftsmanship with contemporary style.
Ranbir Kapoor’s Upcoming Projects
On the work front, Ranbir was last seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, where his portrayal of Ranvijay Singh garnered widespread acclaim. He will next appear in the sequel titled Animal Park, and is also preparing for the much-anticipated cinematic adaptation of Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The epic trilogy will feature an ensemble cast including Sai Pallavi, Yash, Arun Govil, and Lara Dutta.
Ranbir will also reunite with his wife Alia Bhatt in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film Love & War, which co-stars Vicky Kaushal. This marks their first on-screen pairing since the 2022 film Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva, where their off-screen romance began. Love & War is scheduled for release on March 20, 2026.
