The response to the action-thriller movie “Animal” is overwhelming. Alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna discussed her role and thanked her fans for their overwhelming support of the film.
She wrote about her character, “Gitanjali,” and posted some behind-the-scenes photos from her movie on Instagram. She is the only thing keeping her family together at home, if I had to sum her up in one sentence. She is raw, strong, unadulterated, real, and pure. Being an actor, I would occasionally disagree with some of Gitanjali’s decisions. And I still recall my director telling me that this was the story of Ramanvijay and Gitanjali; their families, lives, love, and passion—this was who they were.”
Rashmika went on, “Gitanjali would bring peace, trust, and calm in a world full of all violence, hurt, and unbearable pain. She would ask her gods to protect her family, including her husband. She was the rock that survived every adversity. She was willing to go to any lengths to protect her family.”
She went on to discuss the similarities between her movie character and today’s strong, independent women. “Gitanjali is absolutely beautiful in my eyes, and in some ways she is like most women who are standing strong and protecting their families day in and day out..”
