A Reliance Jio Infocomm software developer shared a video showcasing the unboxing experience. The white box reads “Deepawali Greetings” and “Shubh Deepawali” in both English and Hindi. Inside, employees received a potli bag containing individual packets of cashews, almonds, and raisins. The gift also included a card from the Ambani family – Mukesh and Nita Ambani, along with Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta, Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, and the family’s young grandchildren.
The unboxing video quickly gained traction on Instagram, amassing over 1.6 million views. In the comments, viewers shared their thoughts, with one user mentioning they received an air fryer from their company, while another said they got a Diwali cash bonus this year.
This from Reliance has become an annual tradition, with similar gifts distributed in previous years. Last year, employees received a similar box in pink, also containing dry fruits. Earlier this year, Reliance gifted employees a similar box to celebrate the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, featuring a red box and gold lettering.
