Richa Chadha, who is expecting her first child with husband Ali Fazal, shared the emotional and comforting presence of her unborn baby, stating that she never feels alone.
On Saturday, she posted a series of photos on her Instagram account, describing how the sudden kicks and movements from her baby continually remind her of its presence. In her post, she included a picture with a poignant message: “The discomfort is lonely, but it’s because I’m not alone. I have constant reminders in the form of tiny waves of movement, a knee, a sudden kick, a feeling of someone listening in… Waiting for a bud to blossom. Aaja yaar.”
Richa and Ali are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their first child. In February, the couple joyfully announced the news on Instagram, sharing an image that said “1 + 1 = 3” and confirming the pregnancy with the caption: “A tiny heartbeat is the loudest sound in our world.”
The couple’s love story began on the sets of Fukrey in 2012, and they have been legally married since 2020. They celebrated their union in 2022 with festive ceremonies in Delhi, Mumbai, and Lucknow.
Currently, Richa is receiving acclaim for her role as Lajjo in the newly released series Heeramandi. This show, set against the backdrop of India’s struggle for independence in the 1940s, explores the lives of courtesans and their patrons, highlighting the cultural dynamics of Heera Mandi. The star-studded cast includes Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sharmin Sehgal, and Sanjeeda Sheikh, with Fardeen Khan, Taha Shah Badussha, Shekhar Suman, and Adhyayan Suman portraying the Nawabs.
