Mumbai Indians (MI) opener Rohit Sharma took to social media to express his gratitude to the home fans following their loss against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. The Hardik Pandya-led side finished at the bottom of the IPL standings this season, with just eight points from 14 matches.
In their final match of the season, despite fiery knocks from Rohit Sharma and Naman Dhir, MI fell short, conceding an 18-run loss to LSG at the Wankhede Stadium on Saturday.
Rohit shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, thanking the MI fans for their unwavering support. He posted a picture of the fans with a blue heart emoji, showing his appreciation and love for their dedication throughout the season.
Rohit had a commendable IPL 2024 season with the bat, scoring 417 runs at an average of 32.07 and a strike rate of 150. His performance included a century and a fifty, with a best score of 105*.
