The Mumbai replica of Ram Mandir’s rath was inaugurated by director Rohit Shetty and deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis. Devendra Fadnavis declared during the event that the opening of the Ram temple in Ayodhya would take place on January 22. Everyone aspires to get there, but it isn’t achievable. Here, a doppelgänger of the Ram temple has been constructed to grant their wish.” On January 22, at noon, the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra Trust has decided to enthrone Ram Lalla at the Ram Temple’s sanctum-sanctorum.
For the Indian people, Ayodhya—the birthplace of Lord Rama—has enormous spiritual, historical, and cultural significance. Four thousand saints from every sect have been invited by the trust to the event. The official opening of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Starting on January 16, 2019, one week prior to the main ceremony, Vedic rituals will be performed for the Pran-Pratishtha (consecration) ceremony of Ram Lalla, the infant Lord Ram, in Ayodhya. On January 22, Lakshmi Kant Dixit, a Vedic priest from Varanasi, will conduct the principal ceremonies of Ram Lalla’s consecration. The Amrit Mahautsav will be celebrated in Ayodhya from January 14 to January 22.
Additionally, there will be a 1008 Hundi Mahayagya, where thousands of devotees will receive food. In order to accommodate the thousands of devotees that are anticipated to arrive in the Uttar Pradesh temple town for the grand consecration of the Ram Temple, several tent cities are being built in Ayodhya. The Sri Ram Janambhoomi Trust says that between 10,000 and 15,000 people will be catered for. To ensure a seamless and spiritually enlightening experience for all attendees, local authorities are preparing for the expected spike in visitors around the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony. They are in the process of putting enhanced security measures into place and making logistical arrangements.
