Sara Ali Khan recently wowed her followers on Instagram by sharing a series of stylish photos. The actress looked effortlessly cool in a grey top paired with blue cargo jeans. Adding a touch of glam, she accessorized her outfit with a vibrant “gulabi chashma” and a beautiful stole. Her caption, a playful twist on the lyrics from the famous song “Kala Chashma,” read, “Mainu Gulabi Chashma Jajda Aye Jajda eh gore Mukhde Te.”
On the professional front, Sara is set to share the screen with Ayushmann Khurrana in an upcoming action-comedy produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Guneet Monga’s Sikhya Entertainment. This film marks their third theatrical collaboration and will be directed by Aakash Kaushik.
Sara is also slated to appear in Anurag Basu’s anthology film ‘Metro…In Dino,’ alongside Aditya Roy Kapur, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, and Konkona Sen Sharma. The film, inspired by the song ‘In Dino’ from ‘Life in a… Metro,’ will explore contemporary human relationships. Basu expressed his excitement about the project, saying, “Metro…In Dino is a tale of the people and for the people! The storyline is fresh and relevant, and I look forward to collaborating with amazing artists who bring contemporary essence to the screen. Music plays a crucial role, and I’m thrilled to work with Pritam again, who has breathed life into the characters with his compositions.”
Sara is also receiving praise for her performance in ‘Murder Mubarak.’ Another of her recent releases, ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan,’ is based on the pre-Independence era of India and the life of freedom fighter Usha Mehta. Mehta founded ‘Congress Radio,’ which played a pivotal role during the Quit India movement in 1942.
