Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan made a special late-night visit to Sir H N Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai to congratulate new parents Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, following the birth of their baby girl on September 8.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2018, welcomed their first child, and SRK’s visit added to the celebrations, with videos capturing his car entering and leaving the hospital.
Deepika and Ranveer officially confirmed the joyous news via a heartfelt Instagram post, and many Bollywood stars, including Priyanka Chopra, Ananya Panday, Sara Ali Khan, and Kareena Kapoor Khan, flooded social media with congratulatory messages. Bipasha Basu offered blessings, while stars like Rajkummar Rao and Katrina Kaif also sent their best wishes.
Prior to the birth, the couple had been seen at Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple, seeking blessings from Lord Ganesha. Throughout the year, Deepika and Ranveer shared their pregnancy journey with fans, including a memorable maternity shoot.
On the professional front, Deepika Padukone will be seen next in Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty and set for a Diwali 2024 release. The film also stars her husband Ranveer Singh, alongside Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Tiger Shroff. Meanwhile, Ranveer has a number of projects lined up, including the highly anticipated Don 3 and a film featuring Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal.
The couple first met on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela and went on to star in several iconic films like Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat, becoming one of Bollywood’s most beloved pairs.
