Popular 1990s actress Shilpa Shirodkar, best known for her roles in films like Kishen Kanhaiya, Khuda Gawah, Gopi Kishan, Bewafa Sanam, and Return of Jewel Thief, is set to make a comeback to the limelight as a contestant on Bigg Boss 18. Shilpa, who is the elder sister of actress Namrata Shirodkar, stepped away from the film industry after marriage and moved abroad. Now, she is returning to the screen, using the reality show as a platform to relaunch her career.

While Shilpa is excited about her return, she has made it clear that she is not willing to discuss her sister Namrata or her brother-in-law, superstar Mahesh Babu. According to a report by India Today, Shilpa “refused to talk about her sister Namrata Shirodkar and brother-in-law Mahesh Babu.” Despite their silence on her Bigg Boss appearance, Shilpa is focused on her own journey.

Speaking to the publication, Shilpa said, “I have no secrets, and hence I wouldn’t need to be cautious or image-conscious. I will be myself and play the game wholeheartedly.” She expressed confidence that her genuine approach will shine through during her time on the show.

In the same interview, Shilpa clarified that she doesn’t see any special advantage when it comes to Salman Khan, who will host Bigg Boss 18. Despite working with him in the 1990s, when both were rising stars in Bollywood, she revealed that she does not share a personal bond with the actor. “He is just a colleague to me. I have no special bond; neither is he my friend. But yes, I am hoping to get to know him better. I have followed every season and feel he is a great host. He is so fair, and I am looking forward to taking on this new journey with him,” Shilpa added.

As Shilpa Shirodkar embarks on this new chapter, fans are eager to see how the former 90s star will navigate the dynamics of Bigg Boss and whether her participation will reignite her Bollywood career.
