Shraddha Kapoor graced the runway on Saturday at the Embassy of Belgium in New Delhi, where she walked the ramp for the Hyderabad-based couture brand Mishru during the unveiling of their latest collection, “Resonance 2024/25.”
Designed by Swapna Anumolu, this collection exuded elegance, drawing inspiration from nature and its influence on man-made spaces.
Shraddha looked absolutely stunning in a beautifully embroidered lehenga with intricate beadwork that shimmered under the lights, giving her an ethereal and graceful aura on the ramp.
The event featured a variety of outfits, with models showcasing a mix of colors, from soft whites to bold hues like pink, highlighting the versatile range of the collection. Mishru’s designs, a blend of traditional Indian and Indo-western outfits, featured everything from chic lehengas to modern, fusion styles, staying true to their brand’s focus on occasion wear.
Speaking about her collection, Swapna Anumolu shared, “This season, we have been inspired by nature and natural elements taking over man-made spaces. The collection is called Resonance.” Swapna also praised Shraddha, expressing how “lovely and easy to work with” she was, adding that Shraddha looked “absolutely ethereal” in her outfit.
Meanwhile, Shraddha is riding high on the success of “Stree 2,” which has recently made history at the box office. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film has now become the highest-grossing Hindi film ever, surpassing the lifetime collections of Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan.
According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Stree 2 has grossed an impressive ₹586 crores and is expected to soon join the ₹600 crore club. The film, starring RajKummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee, and Pankaj Tripathi, has not only captivated audiences with its engaging storyline but also with star-studded cameos from Varun Dhawan and Akshay Kumar, both of whom received praise for their roles.
