Islamabad [Pakistan] : Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has reappointed star batter Babar Azam as their white-ball captain, just months before the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, which will start on June 1 in the West Indies/USA.
Azam is set to lead Pakistan in this year’s Men’s T20 World Cup after he was handed captaincy duties of white-ball formats following a unanimous recommendation from the PCB’s selection committee.
“Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi has appointed Babar Azam as white-ball (ODI and T20I) captain of the Pakistan men’s cricket team,” PCB confirmed on social media as quoted by the ICC.
