Key bowling contributions from Bangladesh, particularly from Ritu Moni and Fahima Khatun, helped restrict Scotland’s scoring.

Under the captaincy of Nigar Sultana, Bangladesh set a total of 119/7, with Sobhana Mostary contributing a solid 36 runs.

This match highlighted Bangladesh’s growing prowess in women’s cricket, as they aim for a successful tournament campaign. The tournament continues with more matches, including a clash between Pakistan and Sri Lanka later the same day .
