The ICC Champions Trophy 2025, one of the most prestigious ODI tournaments, is set to begin on February 19, with defending champions Pakistan squaring off against New Zealand in the opening match in Karachi. Team India, led by Rohit Sharma, will start its campaign on February 20 against Bangladesh in Dubai.

This edition of the Champions Trophy is historic as it marks the first ICC event hosted by Pakistan in nearly three decades. However, India will play all its matches in the UAE, following BCCI’s refusal to tour Pakistan.
The tournament will feature eight teams divided into two groups, with the final scheduled for March 9. If India qualifies for the final, it will be shifted to Dubai.
