Shreyas Iyer (55 off 82) and Axar Patel (42 off 60) steadied the innings, guiding India past 134/4 in 32 overs at the Dubai International Stadium. Axar was caught by Williamson balled by Rachin Ravindra.

Facing a fired-up Kiwi attack, Shreyas Iyer played a crucial knock, reaching his half-century in 75 balls, while Axar Patel provided solid support. Their 97-run partnership helped India cross 100 runs in 24.4 overs.
