Champions Trophy: ICC Announces Match Officials For India-Australia Semi-Final Clash

Marvh 3, 2025: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the match officials for the semi-finals of the ongoing Champions Trophy 2025.

India, who topped Group A with six points, will face Australia in the first semi-final in Dubai, after New Zealand’s loss to India. The match will see New Zealand take on Group B toppers South Africa in Lahore for a place in the final.

For the first semi-final in Dubai (India vs Australia):

  • On-field Umpires: Chris Gaffaney and Richard Illingworth
  • Third Umpire: Michael Gough
  • Fourth Umpire: Adrian Holdstock
  • Match Referee: Andy Pycroft

For the second semi-final in Lahore (South Africa vs New Zealand):

  • On-field Umpires: Kumar Dharmasena and Paul Reiffel
  • Third Umpire: Joel Wilson
  • Fourth Umpire: Ahsan Raza
  • Match Referee: Ranjan Madugalle

These officials bring experience to the high-stakes encounters, with Illingworth and Gaffaney having already worked on key games during the group stages.
