🏏 "Exceptional Game, Exceptional Result": PM Modi Hails India's Historic Champions Trophy Win
Shortly after India’s triumphant chase of 252, PM Modi took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his pride and admiration for the Men in Blue:
🗣️ “An exceptional game and an exceptional result! Proud of our cricket team for bringing home the ICC Champions Trophy. They’ve played wonderfully throughout the tournament. Congratulations to our team for the splendid all-around display.”

🏏 India finished the Champions Trophy 2025 unbeaten, proving their dominance on the world stage. The tournament was played across Pakistan and UAE, but all of India’s matches took place at the Dubai International Stadium due to political tensions.
Despite these setbacks, the Kiwis fought hard, with spinners slowing India’s chase, but Rahul and Jadeja held their nerve to seal a historic victory in front of a sea of blue in Dubai.
With this third Champions Trophy title, India surpasses Australia (2 titles) to become the most successful team in the tournament’s history.
