š Updated: February 27, 2025: The Pakistan cricket team endured a humiliating exit from the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, failing to register a single win in the tournament. With back-to-back losses against New Zealand and India, followed by a washout against Bangladesh, Mohammad Rizwan and his men finished at the bottom of Group A with just one point and a Net Run Rate (NRR) of -1.087.

This shocking performance makes Pakistan the worst-performing defending champions in the tournamentās history, surpassing Australiaās one-point finish in 2013.
Despite their poor show, Pakistan will still take home $265,000 (approximately INR 2.31 crore) in prize money.
The total prize pool for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 was set at $6.9 million, reflecting a 53% increase from the 2017 edition.
