With this win, New Zealand also advanced to the knockout stage, while Pakistan and Bangladesh were eliminated, both suffering two consecutive defeats.

New Zealand’s Commanding Performance

New Zealand’s chase of 237 runs was powered by a stellar century from Rachin Ravindra (112), supported by Tom Latham (55) and Devon Conway (30). The Black Caps reached 240/5 in 46.1 overs, securing their second straight win in the tournament.

Earlier, Michael Bracewell delivered a game-changing bowling spell, registering 4/26 in 10 overs, dismissing key Bangladeshi batters, including Tanzid Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, and Mahmudullah. Despite Najmul Hossain Shanto’s fighting 77, Bangladesh could only manage 236/9 in 50 overs.
