
Harmanpreet to Captain India in White-Ball against Australia
The women’s team lineups for India’s next white-ball series against Australia have been announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). In both ODIs and T20Is, Harmanpreet Kaur will captain the team while Smriti Mandhana will act as her deputy. Despite losing the T20I series 2-1 to England, the squad went on to make history by defeating Australia in back-to-back Test matches. On December 28, December 30, and January 2, they will play three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) against Australia. The venue for all games will be Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.
January 5, 7, and 9 will see the three Twenty20 International matches held at Navi Mumbai. Harmanpreet Kaur (c), Smriti Mandhana (vc), Jemimah Rodrigues, Shafali Verma, Deepti Sharma, Yastika Bhatia (wk), Richa Ghosh (wk), Sneh Rana, Amanjot Kaur, Shreyanka Patil, Mannat Kashyap, Saika Ishaque, Renuka Singh Thakur, Titas Sadhu, Pooja Vastrakar, Sneh Rana, and Harleen Deol are the members of the ODI squad.
